*Blankets/pillow cases are being sent home today. Please wash and return them as soon as possible. Usually I will send them home once or twice a month.
Parent Conference day is now Friday, November 16th in the afternoon (we have a half day of school that day). I will be making a new sign up sheet that will be available at arrival and dismissal next week (afterschool parents- I will contact you or you can send me times that work for you).
Reminder- No School Monday October 8th.
Homework: We will be starting to receive homework on Tuesday October 9th. Usually homework will go home on Mondays and will be due back to school by Friday (or the following Monday). Please complete the homework activities with your child. They will focus on the letter of the week, math skills,and theme activities that we are working on at school. We really want to show the kids that what they do at school matters at home too (making the home-school connection). Plus we are encouraging responsibility- please have your child put their completed homework into their folder to bring back to school.
Lending Library Book Bags: These bags will go home on Fridays and will be due back the following Thursday. EVERYTHING must be returned (bag, folder, and all 5 books). Please take good care of these bags when they are in your possession. I need to receive a signed form from you in order for your child to receive a bag (I have most forms, just missing 4).
