Our First Full Week of Pre-K

We just finished our first full week of Pre-K. We continued to work on learning classroom and school rules and routines. We love the book David Goes to School ; we have read it several times and discussed how David did not follow the rules at school. We have been rotating through different centers at center time- next week we will probably start free choice centers. We are slowly opening up new centers to explore.

For those families that could not attend Open House I made sure to put a packet of information in your child's take home folder. Please read through the packet- inside you will find my contact information, our daily schedule, rules, and information about the Lending Library program that we will be starting in October. Also, please make sure that your child has their folder and backpack each day and please check their folder each night.

We do not have school on Monday for Rosh Hashanah, but for the rest of the week/month we will be talking about family and friends.

Please make sure to check the snack calendar to see when your child should bring a snack to share.

Have a great weekend!
